Airbrush Work today

I have worked on a helmet, seven birthday shirts and an elegant dress. They all are different medium to work on, but the colors that each customer was similar to each other. Bright colors see to be what clients have been looking for lately. Each call it a different name. For some it is the 80’s style, others is 90’s style, while the younger era calls it glow in the dark party colors. Flourescent colors is what the paint wholesalers call it.

But this is what people are looking for. The birthday shirts were actually for a fourteen year old girl. But the mother and grandmother got a shirt too, with these flourescent colors. I would not be surprised if the grandmother was reminded of the 70’s with those colors on her shirt. She actually did not want to put the year that she was born on her shirt. It was kind of an interesting order. Due to the fact that I find it comical that the shirt that required the most thought was the mother’s shirt. Not the daughter or any of her friends.

I got a black top that needs to get painted now. I am waiting for the silver to dry. Another funny customer to me. Originally the client wanted white and gold letters on a black top. She was thinking silver and her friend convinced her that yeah silver would be better. When I gave my opinion, she still went with the silver. On a tiny spot in a tiny shirt! It came out okay. It was kind of difficult trying to get that silver to really show that it was silver. But she seemed to have liked it and she paid in full so I guess I have nothing to complain about.

I still need to finish the greatest challenge of the day, and that is to finish airbrushing this wedding like dress. I am trying to imagine it as the girl walks with it, since she wants the tail to have light pink flames on it. So the flames have to look like how she imagined it while she is dragging the dress around the ballroom. She also wants hello kitty and playboy bunny symbols on them. And the colors are all flourescent colors. This is my airbrush work for in one day. I will end it here so I can finish the day.
