The Greedy Pig. One day on March 10, 2003 apparently, I went to a class due to my probation. The host asked everyone to draw a pig on the piece of paper to the right. As you can see, they were giving us totally and completely non-scientific analysis of how we drew a pig. The host did not give us any more information except the instruction at the top that just says the task is to draw a picture of a pig.
A few people asked how, or what kind of pig. Others asked what if they can’t draw. The only reply was draw a pig. I cannot remember what any of the information that they really gave on the definition of each. But it seems that if you drew a pic looking left, it meant one thing, pessimist, let’s say. So if you drew a pic looking right, the you are an optimist. Those were the most popular choices. I had to ask what it meant if you drew the pig facing forward. So the host went into greater detail on this non-scientific analysis from his notes. I cannot truly remember what the different details of the pig they analysis. I seriously cannot remember that detail. And most people in there were ready to get out so they went through the information quite fast. But just examples of what they were looking for, The feet maybe, the nose I am sure. Maybe you get the picture. I am sure that they truly meant draw a pig that we see in a farm. I am also sure that everyone in the class except I, interpreted the definition of a pig as a farm animal.
I personally feel this was my read between the lines reply signifying the greedy pig as a politician with a top hat laughing and smoking a cigar with a big fat expensive bib laughing at my misery being stuck in this class cause I got caught in their drawn up system set up for the greedy pig to keep wining. That was what I was trying to say when I drew this pig on this piece of paper. Apparently my drawing when analyzed resulted in me being Realistic, Direct, Analytical, Secure and Stubborn. I believe I remember where the stubborn was defined from. They said if you took the time to draw a lot of detail then you are stubborn. Go figure, as some would say back then. The fact that the pig is facing forward meant I am realistic, from what I recall. Those are the bits and pieces I remember from this piece of art.
What do you think were the characteristics? Are there online test with those questions? Has anyone taken any similar tests in their lifetime?
