Hoy! El presente. The present gift of being present in this very moment now and doing what I am guided or prompted to do today. Every day is a new challenge, a new lesson or a new change to celebrate. I cannot dedicate myself to writing or blogging every day on a consistent schedule. Sometimes I’m better off not touching an airbrush. I do not think I could live my life retired and gardening everyday. And I could not imagine having to commit to a music career.
I enjoy mixing it up every day. Having long term goals with flexibility for life to happen bringing changes and opportunities. I released a new song that was AI generated on Suno with lyrics I wrote.
I have friends who tell me they wish they had time to make music. I tell them “yeah I hear ya!” My airbrush artist friends tell me they wish they had time to just do artwork. Many people are currently doing jobs they wish they weren’t and see the grass greener on the other side. It can be work and dedication to accomplish the goals that one desires. It is even more difficult thinking about the financial side and how will thing happen. The tougher challenge is believing it will happen and everything will work out. Once you can get to that point, it is time to figure out what you want to do with your time. You might say that is a good problem to have, what to do with your time. Possibly, but it is not a good trade-off to stop working for someone to do nothing, so there has to be a plan, goal, desire to want to accomplish.
What makes me happy is being able to work on what the day holds. Sometimes I program what I will do. Others are dedicated to helping someone. I enjoy making music when I like, airbrushing when I have the flow, write when I have the idea and share when I feel like sharing once I get out of my head that sometimes carry doubts. I enjoy learning and binge learning new ideas, skills or projects. I do not like pushing my ideas onto others, but I do enjoy being resourceful with knowledge for gigs I’ve worked.
I am most happy having the ability to stop working when Baby Pearl comes and wants me to give her attention and play with her outside or inside with her small toys and beautiful imagination. I sometimes cheer up remembering her laugh or how she says something to me. I truly enjoy her company and my daughter’s company as well even as an adult. Family is important and being able to share moments with them is very special. Having the opportunity to create projects to teach them either with blogs, music and art.
This new song is special to me. It was created from verse two to another song I am currently working on. So the song was not the song intended but it is what it became. I wrote an additional verse just last week. I am amazed how fast I was able to create it all with ai tools. As I end the song “make a world for all generations from me and you,” that is what makes me truly happy.
