“Your dad was a good dad. Better than mine RIP.”
“Wait!” she replies as she points up. “My dad is up there.”
Her friend’s reply “He was crazy. Party animal. You would think he would stop sleepin’ around. They loved his “honesty is the best policy” bullshit. I think that sends him straight to hell.”
“What! No he’s up there…” she response angrily as her friend continues. ” Don’t get me wrong. I mean who knew! Well you knew and he did too I guess. People still trynna figure out if he predicted it all, wrote it as he planned it to be or wrote it as a journal then into stories. And you said he would always qoute that ‘Matrix’ movie! Creepy. What was it? You would tell me all the time. ” Would you have dropped it if I hadn’t said anything” Crazy talk.”
She looks rather angered, a little red, as she tries to figure out what to address first as her friend continues to talk abruptively. “Those that say it is just a journal ofcoarse call him a fraud. Right place at the right time. Exploited. Boom! Typical story of rags to riches. Your dad is a very controversial person, isn’t he? Don’t look at me like that. All I am saying is that I do not think that your dad would be sent up there like you said. Heaven! You dad! Common.”
“He’s not in Heaven! He’s in space! Outer Space! How you gonna say all of that about…”
“Don’t be mad at me. It’s still all true..” is a quick reply to disguise the embarrassment her friend felt.
