Tatianna Pearl Luna. She is the G-Rated Gal we are highlighting this week. There is so much about this young lady that many do not understand. The trauma that this beautiful soul has endured in her life is amazing, yet not quite considered by most people when they think about her.

Born on 11-11, yes November 11th. She is a magical diamond in the rut. The trauma her mother faced in her lifetime before Tatianna is a story that should be told to truly understand the entire story. But that is for someone else to tell. However, this baby girl had so much trauma in her DNA passed from both her mother and father from the childhood life they experienced. She is loved by both her parents, but to say that she was raised by her father since she was one year old, you have to really understand what that means. That means that since she was a year old, Tatianna’s mother was absent from her life. Not many of her friends could actually grasp what that means. OR her teachers. Until later in a school year when they get to know her and begin to think of how difficult it must be to grow up without a mother.

No matter the obstacles, this young lady has survived the struggle and continues to battle the challenges of life. She is finally going to complete high school, allowing her to open those doors that we kept closed to her because she did not have a high school diploma. Also, those teachers that might realize a little too late how difficult they have been to her, not taking into account that she has to do everything a mother has to do for a two year old baby girl on top of learning business and finishing her education. Being able to make her own money has been a necessity, and important for her to be able to have her baby with her so she has most influence on her daughter, instead of leaving it at the hands of mainstream media only.
We are not sure what Tatianna’s teaching skills will be for her baby Pearl, or what type of education she will give her baby when the time arrives. She has been open to different possibilities now, instead of thinking that she has to settle for the traditional public or private schools. There are online school options and she has tried one all the way to her graduation. The way she is treated really will determine how she feels about her daughter’s education. Thus far, the option of being able to have a flexible schedule and be able to do all her courses online has been a benefit she has appreciated.
