All subject to change every day

What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?

Morning rituals, not one to typically have them. Each morning is a day, filled with new opportunities. I for one, have preferred to live in change. Experiencing new things. Completely.

However, lately I’ve been waking up early in the morning. I hear many of those start their engines to go to work. I get up and like Kodac Black, I have my broccoli, then fullfil my sugar need 😬. Many people try to say something but common, everyone is filling theirs with coffee, sodas, alcohol, artificial juice or cereals. But they see me drink a Monster and automatically feel they have to comment on my habit. Due to my grown desire for Monster drinks over the years I have cut off many of the other sugars that stack on top of each other have you? Such as coffee in the morning, sugary breakfast with I think it is healthy orange juice and Starbucks in the afternoon. Then topped with lunch, dinner, sodas and alcohol. And I get mocked for drinking Monsters. 😂

After those two, in no particular order, I proceed with the rest of the morning rituals, not in the same order, of showering with positive affirmations playing, writing down my top 3 daily affirmations and taking care of the garden that was started over here. Walk and stretching. Or stretching first. Either way, my gut doesn’t go with logic much. 🤔

So for the last two weeks, it has been my morning ritual to water these plants and watch them grow. I come out, talk with them, water them and command them to grow healthy and strong.

It amazes me still that it has only been two weeks, but guess what, on my journal where I write my positive affirmations I have jotted down how many days its been that I have been writing them, 25 days, and how long I’ve been doing this morning ritual. 14 days and wow have they grown. I have to hurry up and study some more to keep up with the next step. Any advice, I’d love to hear. Also I am going back to the video we keep watching to get our information that got us this far.

I would like to point out that I have been doing this morning, brunch, lunch dinner and evening dance with the garden most days so that G-Rated can show a great progress and Pearls Beauty can show beautiful growth. Everyone comes and sees the beauty in going from an idea that was written less than a month ago to how big the garden is getting now.

The rest of my day goes about doing art, writing or living experiences which later I either draw or write about. Life is art and art is life as I see it in my eye. I also write sometimes “I live to write and write to live.” Don’t know where those came from but I’ve used them for a couple years now. Live to write and write to live is quite simple. There is a need to live life and be able to write about it. And the rest of the play on words with that phrase have crossed my mind as well. Imagine though, how beautiful life gets when even those days that are terribly bad become great stories to write. Many people go through similar circumstances and also feel no one will comprehend. So when us, as writers, write our experiences, readers read what they feel no one else felt and everyone wins. So to all the artists and all the writers, keep doing your passion. No matter what your passion is, find it and enjoy it. Love it.

I write poetry, make music, travel and study and learn as much as I can. Help make magazines and spend much time with my family. Life should be enjoyed not just endured. And when I travel, well all morning rituals are out the door. When there are events we attend, the morning are totally different. Pack, shower, ready, checklist, Aghhhh! Fun times that seem hectic at times. Love it.

  1. That’s so interesting. Live to write. That’s wonderful. I wish I could manage my time like this. Talk to plants and my pets early morning. Feed them with better food. And rest of the day find time easily to write.

    1. That is excellent. You made your wish written down. Now turn your want into a desire. What I noticed two years ago is that usually writing what I desired took about a year to fully develop or sometimes even start and manifest instantly, after a year. So more than likely if you focus on your desires like the ones you mentioned, plants, pets and life to write, then in at least a year you will see things happen. A know, a year, seems long but not as long as believing it will never happen 😉

      2. Thank you but I wouldn’t follow my advice. I would challenge it. If I said it takes a year you should say you can in 6 months, 3 months.
I just feel by default if you do nothing else but write what you desire, it happens within a year’s time give or take. But if you challenge me, and I challenge myself often and got it down to 2 weeks and sometimes 2 days.
But I get what you saying and thank you for your gratitude. I know you can achieve a life you desire. 😊
