Who do you Blame?

Daily writing prompt
What public figure do you disagree with the most?

Myself! The person I disagree with the most is myself. Conversations of what I did wrong, what I did right, why should it matter, why does it matter? Who? What? Why? When? How?

Many times before I make a decision I argue back and forth with all the what ifs. Many times when I align with my mind, heart and gut feeling I execute without second guessing, afterwards I deal with the what ifs.

Especially after people’s’ reactions. Example the other daily prompt I thought I read comments saying “how dare you tell me to imagine voting for myself!” I disagree with myself that anyone is saying I am wrong for asking to use imagination.

I disagree with myself. I think many people did imagine

Most thought of their worst fears without thinking it has already happened when everything shut down during the pandemic. We are all still here and moving forward. If governments shut down because we voted for ourselves, we the people would be able to set the new terms of condition.

They would not let their governments fall. They don’t want to lose their jobs just as much as nobody with a job wants to lose theirs. It is getting fired, telling those reps that they are not doing their job and we are letting them go. They don’t want that!

Imagine this, elected officials quit fighting each other on the media and instead work with each other for the best interest of the citizens they work for.

You think they really fight after working hours? They are like that sheep dog and the coyote on looney tunes. After they clock out they stop working, just like you.

Maybe we should all take some time to turn off any devices and electronics to listen without outside influence. We might find we all disagree with ourselves.

I agree with ICT Makavenna who said:

“while you point all other fingers point at you”

Seems when a person points, there is one finger pointing to the other, three fingers pointing back, and the thumb either points up or a different direction. Try pointing and see what your hand naturally does.

This song, though quality isn’t excellent, the words are some that I feel many should hear, many should listen, and many should think about for themselves. That is all I think I am asking. That you give it an ear.

But… I do disagree with myself. I tell myself that I need to not impose your thoughts on others. I read, listen and learn much and want to tell as many as I can. But many think different of me than I of myself. So I disagree and tell myself I need to focus on myself and my blog and my experiences. Those who would like to imagine what I write are free to do so, but I need just type it, post it and let it go. Just keep doing me and walking the talk, questioning everything, as I inspired my daughter to do so as well. What she posted and the grade she got on her school brings me joy because for better or worse, it is I that taught my daughter and raised her with my values and ideas.

Therefore, I am the public figure I disagree with the most. I have my own debates, weighing the pros and cons, and coming to the best conclusion. My aim is that my decisions help more than just myself. At the end of the day, I agree with most decisions I made, not all. But that’s okay, I am okay changing my mind from how I thought before, be it a minute ago or years ago. We all change in time.

I quote my mentor “if you see me talking to myself don’t worry about me, I am getting the best advice possible!” When I heard Billy Carson make that statement, I loved the thought because I totally get it. Listening outside, you hear so much noise of others influencing their opinions onto you. Very few say, this is what i do and how I think and this is why. It is only my point of view, what is yours? Instead we say “you should, you shouldn’t, they should, they shouldn’t” We throw all these mathematical equations to everything with <,>,=,โ‰  and label everything greater than, less than, equal to or not equal to.

At the end all decisions and all equations lead to ones and zeros. On or Off, Yes or No. The choice is always up to one self. I will disagree until I agree with myself and live with no regrets of the choices I make.
