Writers, I think we need to love our jobs. This is already an alternative career path taken. I have taken about a week off from devices and I am happy to report that our numbers are down. That is excellent. There is no pressure no concern. We just write. Read. Enjoy. Money becomes an issue here and there. Stats might be important from time to time. But it is important to remember we left whatever there was that put that stress on us before to try something new, be a writer. Congratulations to all making the journey. I have tried quite a few career paths on land and have my eyes set on flying the skies.

The reason why I remind to love this job is because my website is called Airbrushes & Airplanes, about pursuing a live altering career change from airbrushes to airplanes. Already being a writer is a career path from the previous drafting inside of a cubicle for 8 to 10 hours job. Or from the change of seeing constant boring lines to contant boring numbers that I was taking when learning Accounting to make a career change.

“Why would you want a career change? You are a drafter!” I would be told. And it angered the corporation to find out I was not just a drafter but also an independent self employed airbrush artist outside company time. I was supposed to be settled as a drafter hoping that my job won’t be taken and I can keep up with inflation. When they found the opportunity to let me go without speculation or question, it was done. Under the third wave of lay offs going on in the company at the time. I have been on alternative career paths ever since.

That is that, back to this. I enjoy being a writer because here I am manifesting my best alternative future by writing it down and sharing it with people who have genuine interest in a similar path or a different read. I take a week off after allowing just a little bit of the bad “news” enter my view and I had to declutter my thoughts. I don’t keep up with news much since 2020 or so. It takes me a few hours to catch up and absorb it bringing negative energy and frequency. Then I have to breathe and realign myself because what is mainstream news and media right now is way worse than I can imagine a human being thinking of or living like. I may be wrong and it really is that crazy out there or I could right and we just need to stay on a higher vibrational frequency.

Because if these people we thought once were the meaning of success come out being completely different than we expected them to be, then we should be happy with what we can be. Be you all the time.

I do tell the reader and listener that very message. Amongst anyone who gives my work a read or and ear, I am one of them. Therefore I am telling myself to just be me. Enjoy being the me I am and continue thinking and working on passing my work in words and art.

There is this cosmic dance that we do. Some call it good or bad. Some positive or negative. Some call it masculine or feminine. So that is what it is, just ideas. Thoughts. Lessons. Theories. Conversation. There is no shame except that we give ourselves or those others impose on us and I we allow it to influence us. Nowadays it almost seems like it would be shameful to say I am a straight man and I love beautiful women. But I am and I do, that is who I am and my message is be who you want to be. #AlexAirbrushLuna, and my alternative career change is flying planes. Flying cars should be out by 2025 and I have currently discovered that for the Sport Pilot license I only need 20 flying hours. The types of crafts I have been researching, amphibious crafts and flying vehicles, a sports license is all I need.

One more time, I love writing and applaud all writers. It is great being in this platform that just asks “once again please tell us what you are here for” in to which I respond Airbrushes & Airplanes.
