An intro to a creative process.

There are several ways to get ideas generating. The H-town style was to find instrumentals and do freestyle battles on top of it. We would hit record and see what we get. It was definitely a way to party in Houston.

Everyone to their flavor that gets them rambling on the mic. Speaking what was crossing through the mind. Some were great at the freestyle. Others, like myself, prefer taking time to write things down.

In the airbrush community, when you are a freestyle artists, you don’t rely heavily on stencils. However, with any method, the tendency is to find a short cut or and edge to the main event, if you will.

Tattoo artists can sometimes go right off what you told them and create the tattoo on your skin without need of tracing, as many tattoo artist do. Tracing assist the client in being able to visualize the tattoo before it is done. And it assist the tattoo artist with a rough outline that can get smeared if not done strategically.

These rants are my form of freestyling on the keyboard, mistakes and all. I just type trying to keep up with the thoughts in my head. Sometimes telling myself to stop or repeat that. Sometimes the thoughts beyond are ceased! So it is best to keep going and trying to keep up. Just food for thought. Imagine trying to scribe what someone else is saying, whom you cannot tell to stop talking or repeat that.

So my ideas, I have not even gotten to those yet. The new album for zodiacs was released recently with part of the title being Rap Versus. I did intend Verses, as in this song as lyrical flows. But I did also intend it to be versus. Versus what?

We come back to this H-Town style, where the beat plays again and again, and contenders jump on in. I am working on instrumental extensions where I will give either an intro or outro to the zodiac song. The whole thing will then be chopped and screwed, um again, lol. As I am working on creating new lyrics for these beats that go with the zodiac rap versus album. And somehow along the way.

At the moment of the whole project, I am in this transition phase of Sketch to Airbrush ArtMusic phase. So, I will not be releasing this beat as an official song. It is only being hosted on here. So I could hear.

And anyone who listens and reads, could also hear the beat. And maybe participate in the future. For now, it is the beats. That is the intro. That is the event with no titles, no names. No hashtags. No links. No photos.
